Guru Yoga and Mandala Offering Retreat
The practice of Guru Yoga and making mandala offerings create a vast collection of merit through which we can receive the powerful blessings of our Spiritual Guide and fulfil our spiritual wishes.
Session 1: 8.00 – 9.30am
Session 2: 10.00am – 11.30pm
Session 3: 12.30 – 2.00pm
The Foundation Programme in Modern Kadampa Buddhism is open to anyone who would like an opportunity to deepen their understanding and experience of Buddhism through a systematic study of six texts.
The Foundation Programme is currently studying Eight Steps to Happiness.
• Deeper understanding of the meditations
• Structure to help establish a regular meditation practice
• More support for your spiritual growth
• An opportunity to discuss and ask questions
• Gain the ability to integrate Buddha’s teachings into our daily lives and solve all our human problems
The Foundation Programme class is once a week on Thursday 7:30-9pm and Saturdays at 2.30pm- 4:30pm. When you enrol for the programme you are enrolling to complete the study of the complete book. However there are many breaks throughout the year for holidays etc.

Recommended for ages 4 – 11 years.
These classes aim is to develop and nurture positive qualities in children. Through meditations and exploring topics such as love, compassion, patience and cherishing others, children will learn the methods to solve their problems, keep a peaceful heart and become happy individuals.
Each class is self-contained and includes gentle meditations, a short teaching, fun activities (story telling/drama/crafts) and discussions relevant to their everyday experiences.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
