Giving Opportunity
Meal & Video Screening : NKT DAY – April 7th at 7pm One main function of a Dharma Centre is to give everyone the opportunity to collect good fortune and wisdom. Giving money to a Kadampa Meditation Centre is a certain way to fulfil this wish for individual people. Why? Because all of the extra money that is not used for the basic running costs of KMCs is donated directly to the International Temples Project. This is a registered charity and all its funds can only be used for the public benefit of all sentient beings by building World Peace Temples in all major cities worldwide. Therefore, the best way to ensure we have resources in all our future lives is to practise giving to such meaningful projects right now while we have the chance. KMC Singapore will celebrate this day with a ‘Meal and Movie’ evening. Mexican Meal – serving favourites such as burritos, re-fried beans, guacamole, and much more! Videos – a special selection of videos showing the inspiring activities of Kadampa people throughout the world. Suggested minimum donation of $100 per individual or $150 per family.
