Sunday 4 November – 10.30am-4.15pm
with Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Drolkyi
Many people find that their thoughts bounce back and forth without much direction or control, making it difficult to maintain peaceful and happy minds even when we try to meditate. Buddha compared our mind to a wild elephant, which when out of control can cause much suffering?
This day course is a special opportunity to receive teachings on how to control our mind based on chapter 5 of Guide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life by Shantideva. This much loved text gives an unequalled explanation on how to develop mindfulness in daily life and is an essential text for those who wish to train their mind.
This day course is part of the Vajrapani empowerment weekend but is stand alone and can be booked separately.
Course Fee: $50
