**LAST CLASS MARCH 12     (7pm - 8pm) **

This class caters especially for beginners who would like to learn more about meditation and practical methods from Buddha's teachings on solving daily stresses and tensions.  Each class is self-contained so you can come to any class.  It is not necessary to have attended the earlier classes, as these teachings are very accessible and open to everyone. Drop into a class anytime.

About the Classes

Buddhist meditation is extensive and by coming along to these classes you will learn basic breathing meditation and gain insight into the topics taught by Buddha. All the topics are presented in a practical way so that you can understand how to use the knowledge gained in meditation to help improve your state of mind and quality of life.

The methods taught are based on Buddha’s teachings on the mind but can be practised by anyone, Buddhist or not.

There are no physical exercises or special postures involved. Participants sit on chairs to meditate.

Gen Kelsang Rabten

Gen Rabten is the National Spiritual Director of S.E.Asia, Australia & New Zealand and is also the new Resident Teacher of KMC Singapore.

He has trained under the guidance of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for over 25 years and his deep faith in Buddha's teachings and joyful approach has inspired many people live a more meaningful and enriching spiritual life.
