Sunday Course – Overcoming Anger

Enjoy a Sunday with a difference at Kadampa Meditation Centre Singapore. Our Sunday courses are designed to give you time to learn about meditation and Buddhism as well as time to relax and gain a sense of contentment and well being that comes from practising meditation.

There are three teaching and meditation sessions with complimentary refreshments and snacks provided in one of the breaks.

Anger is one of the most destructive emotional state that harms both ourself and others. Many of our relationship problems with others are caused by the fire of anger.

In this course on Overcoming Anger, we will look at:

  • Identifying what are the root causes of Anger
  • Practical methods on how to overcome our anger, irritations and tensions.
  • How a daily meditation practice can help us gain the peace in our life.

The meditations taught in this course will be practical instructions that we can take away to practice on our own.

 

Timetable:

10am - 11am- Introduction and teaching #1 with guided meditation

11am - 11.45am- Refreshment break

11.45am - 12.45pm - Teaching #2 with guided meditation

1pm - 2pm- Meditation and Q&A
