Every parent wants their teenager to be happy, healthy and successful in life. Meditation is a powerful tool to introduce into a teen’s day to promote inner strength and mental well-being. All of which is especially important in our modern world full of many distractions and competing influences.
In these monthly classes, students will learn simple meditations and methods based on Buddha’s teachings to calm their minds and ways to deal with negative feelings. Classes include a short discussion about everyday experiences relevant to teens, guided meditations, and practices that foster habits such as patience, giving and thinking about the kindness of others.
