Half-Day Course: The Art of Mala Making

Sun, 14th Jun  |  10am – 1pm
with Buddhist Teacher, Krystal

Enjoy a Sunday with a difference at Kadampa Meditation Centre Singapore at our Mala Making Workshop.

This special Sunday course combines both a hands-on workshop during which we will learn to make our own mala (Buddhist prayer beads), as well as teachings on the significance of the mala and how to use it. The workshop will end with a practical session in which we use our mala for mantra recitation, and there will also be an opportunity to have any questions that you may have answered.

The mala that you make during this workshop will be yours to take home for use in your own practice of mantra recitation :)

This workshop is suitable everybody, Buddhist or non-Buddhist, regardless of experience. Please note that bookings are limited to 14 spaces, so please book early if you wish to attend.

Timetable

10 – 11.45am: Practical mala making session
[11.45am – 12.15pm: Tea break]
12.15 – 1pm: Teaching and mantra recitation session
(Please aim to arrive between 9.30 – 10am for registration if possible.)

* Note that seating for this course will be on cushions, with limited spaces available on a chair & table.

Course Fee: $65 per person
